We wish you heartily welcome to the third season, 2011–2012, of the concert series on Drottninghusgränd 2! As usual, the concerts are at 18:30 tuesdays and 19:30 wednesdays. In december, we play sunday 11th at 17:00 and monday 12th at 18:30. The whole series of 5 concerts will cost 750:-, including 6% VAT and a small refreshment before the concert. Oskar Bly tenor
Oskar Bly, tenor, studied musical theatre performance at the Gothenburg University for Opera and Theatre. Musical theatre appearances include the protagonists in Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables and Chess in Sweden and abroad. On the concert stage he appeared with Tommy Körberg and Carl-Axel Dominique. Since a few years he is studying the classical and operatic repertoire in Sweden and in Italy. He comes direcly from the Martha Cardona Theatre in New York where he played the part of Rodolfo in Puccinis La Boheme.
Lucian Moraru viola
Our friend Lucian Moraru is a well known musician in Romania and also the first foreign guest artist. After studies at the Academy of Music in Bucharest, he completed his education in the Netherlands and in Great Britain. He started his career as a member of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra parallel with a persistent soloist and chamber musician activity. He has appeared as a soloist with conductors as Daisuke Soga, Sergiu Comissiona, Petre Zbarcea and Horia Andreescu. His touring includes Romania, Canada and Italy.Beyond his viola playing he writes musical arrangements and orchestrations for instruments as clarinet, trumpet and pan flute. He adapts classical repertoaire such as Vivaldis Seasons, which was performed and also recorded by Gheorghe Zamfir 2006.
Ylva Larsson violin
After her education with prof. Endre Wolf and Jennifer Nuttal-Wolf at the Edsberg Institute in Stockholm and at the University of Minnesota, Ylva pursued a free-lance career in Sweden and abroad. She then became a member of the Royal Opera Orchestra in Stockholm. On the concert stage she has appeared in the nordic countries, and in Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia and Germany, often as the first violin of the Stockholm Quartet. Together with Tommy Svanström she manages the festival "Virserums Musikdagar".
Peter Friis Johansson piano
Since his recital debute at the age of 17 Peter Friis Johansson (b. 1983) has occupied a special position among the young Swedish pianists. His extensive touring has brought him to Musikverein in Vienna, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Köln Philharmonie beside to most Swedish concert stages. He was the "Artist in residence" of the Swedish Radio in 2009.
Marinela Mitria romanian pianist
Her musical visiting card includes several tours in Sweden, Romania and Finland, as well as soloist appearances with orchestras in Romania. In 2009 she recorded the piano music for the "Autumn Sonata" by Ingmar Bergman, staged by Stefan Larsson for the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm.
Robert Rydholm pianist
The second profile of conaccento's, a pianist at the Royal Opera. Often he appears as an accompanist, but prefers privately to play J.S. Bach and the french piano repertoire. In 2012 he gives a luch concert at the Royal Opera together with the cellist Tommy Svanström.
